Naturbadestrand Flihorn, located in the small town of Weesen some 13 km north of Glarus, is one of a number of designated areas for bathing in the delightful clear waters of Lake Walen (Walensee). It has a sandy beach, a float, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and a barbeque area. Facilities are limited to toilets and there are no food outlets. An alternative area is the Strandbad Weesen, which has similar facilities, but no barbeque area, and is south of the town (co-ordinates 47.1321 9.1006).
