The Wallenried Golf and Country Club, which was founded in 1994, is located approximately 10 km northwest of Fribourg. The 18-hole links style course was designed by Ruzzo Reuss and measures 6,064 metres, with a par rating of 72. There is also a golf school with three practice holes. Facilities include a driving range, putting green, practice bunker, pitching green, pro shop and a restaurant. Clubs, carts and hand and electric trolleys can be hired. Caddies are available on prior request.
