Located at Twannberg some 12 km southwest of Biel and part of the Twannberg Hotel Holiday Visit complex, the Hallenbad Feriendorf offers indoor bathing under lifeguard supervision. Opened in 1980, the holiday village has superb views of Lake Biel and St Peter’s island, a children’s playground, petting zoo and other activities and attractions; it pays particular attention to wheelchair access. Features of the indoor swimming pool are a waterslide, various pool accessories, a grassed sunbathing area with shade and the facilities include a restaurant, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets.
