If you are paying a visit to Choleren Gorge (see separate entry), this can easily be combined with a visit to the traditional wood carving workshop of the Adelboden family Trummer; they will be pleased to show you around. The workshop is located just north of the gorge and is well worth the extra time and effort. You can look over Robert Trummer’s shoulder whilst he is at work on his carved figures, which include animals such as eagles and bears, clocks, Christmas cradles and much more. You can also purchase genuine Adelboden souvenirs if you wish.
