Located approximately 24 km northwest of Biel, the Tramelan Lido offers an alternative to lake swimming with its open-air pools in beautiful rural surroundings, with a full range of facilities and lifeguard supervision. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool, a diving pool with 1-metre and 3-metre platforms and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include various pool accessories, a beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, boules, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There is a barbeque area and a restaurant.
