Titlis Mountain is 3,020 metres (10,000 feet) above sea level and the only glacier in Central Switzerland. The highlight of any visit to the peak is the last portion from Stand to the Klein Titlis station, a 600-metre section which takes five minutes by revolving cable car. The gondolas turn 360° around their axis, giving all passengers a panoramic view of the Engelberg Valley, the deep abysses and the crevasses of the Titlis Glacier. Normal cable cars operate on the previous stages to Gerschnialp (1,262 m), Trübsee (1,796 m) and Stand (2,428 m). A unique experience, this should not be missed.
