The Thermal Baden is one of the town’s many thermal spas, which were discovered and used by the Romans more than 2000 years ago, when Baden was known as ‘Aquae Helveticae’. The waters from Baden’s famous springs, of which there are 19, are said to be the richest in minerals in Switzerland and are recommended for the treatment of medical conditions such as rheumatic problems, metabolic disorders, neurological diseases and heart and cardiovascular problems. Thermal Baden has both indoor and outdoor pools enabling visitors to rest, relax and recuperate the whole year round in luxurious surroundings.
