The Pâquis Baths holds a unique spot in the affections of Genevans. They were opened to the public in 1932 and, when they needed renovation in 1988, a referendum by its patrons to preserve the site was approved by 72% of the voting population. Located in the heart of the Rade, this is a great example of cosmopolitan Geneva. Young and old alike, dynamic businessmen as well as artists, students, mothers and many others meet at this famous spot. In addition to its renowned snack bar, the Baths also offer superb sauna facilities, various bathing areas and diving boards.
