The Swimming Complex at Carona, situated not far from Lake Lugano, has three open air pools. There is a 50-metre pool for swimming, a children’s paddling pool and a diving pool with a one-metre and a three-metre springboard and three fixed height diving platforms (ranging from five up to ten metres). There is a lifeguard on duty. In addition to sunbathing areas with shady sections, there are changing cubicles, lockers, toilets, showers, a field for games and Frisbee, courts for badminton and beach volleyball, table tennis, a kiosk for refreshments and a restaurant.
