Summer in Adelboden is the time to explore a superb mountain landscape, with over 300 km of walking, hiking and mountain trails (see also separate entries) and a wide range of cycling and mountain biking routes. Visit the Höreli Alpine flora garden or take the Waterweg path which, apart from the Engstligen Falls and Choleren Gorge (see separate entries), takes in Pochtenkessel, the Härdöpfelbrunne spring and the Bütschibach stream. The energetic can try the Chäligang Fixed Rope Route up to Engstligenalp, or climbing and abseiling under the instruction of the Alpine School on an artificial rock face or in the Choleren gorge.
