The Forum Sumiswald indoor bathing complex is part of a large sports centre located about 15 km southeast of Burgdorf. It has a range of heated pools, spa facilities and a public internet wireless connection. The 21-metre swimmers’ pool is adjustable to 25 metres and is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool, a children’s pool and a whirlpool. Other features include a waterslide, children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing area with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include a kiosk, restaurant, sauna, solarium, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. Massage and fitness classes are available.
