The Jura is renowned for its stained glass windows, and its sixty churches and chapels have the largest concentration of this art form in Europe. Jura Bernois Tourism runs a professionally guided tour from Moutier, which provides the opportunity to see many of these stained glass windows which are by distinguished artists. The tour also gives an insight into the history and architecture of some of the most delightful villages in the Jura. Participants will visit seven to nine churches, depending on choice of itinerary and the tour lasts about seven hours; you can use your own transport if you wish.
