The historic St Theodore’s Church is located in the pleasant Theodorskirchplatz, which is adjacent to Wettteinplatz. It can be reached by crossing the Wettstein Bridge (Wettsteinbrücke) and passing the old Carthusian Monastery in Wettsteinstrasse, which is now the Waisenhaus Orphanage (see separate entry). The church was built in the 14th century and its interesting features include the sandstone font, which dates from around 1500, the choir and its 16th century tabernacle and the choir windows which are from around 1375.
