Located at Schwändi bei Schwanden, approximately 5 km south of Glarus, the open-air bathing complex of Schwimmbad Schwändi lies at the foot of the Glärnisch, offering fabulous views of 3,000-metre high peaks. The swimmers’ pool is complemented by a children’s paddling pool and other features include various pool accessories, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and a games area for Frisbee, badminton and other sports. Facilities include a barbeque area, kiosk, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets.
