In addition to its many other attractions, Shwarzsee (see separate entry) offers lake bathing with free entry at Seebad Gypsera. Facilities include a float, children’s playground, grassed areas with shade for sunbathing and picnics, a restaurant and toilets. If you want a beach, the local tourist offers recommends Stahlenmotta beach, a five minute walk from the Gypsera car park. Pedalo hire is available, with a swan pedalo as a special! Fishing is permitted in the lake and daily and weekly tickets can be obtained from the local tourist office at Hauptstrasse 522, Schwarzsee.
