Located on the outskirts of Schwänden, approximately 6 km south of Glarus, the Schwimmbad Schwanden open-air bathing complex is under lifeguard supervision. There is a full range of pools with the swimmers’ pool complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool, a diving pool with one-metre and three-metre platforms and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a waterslide, children’s playground, beach volley ball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade, and a games area for Frisbee, badminton and other sports. Facilities include a kiosk, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets.
