The historic small town of Schüpfen in the Aarberg district is located about 14 km northwest of Berne and the Schwimmbad Schüpfen is a pleasant open-air bathing complex on the outskirts. The swimmers’ pool is complemented by a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a children’s playground, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and games areas for Frisbee, badminton and other sports. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, showers and toilets. There is a bistro type restaurant.
