The Badi Schönenwerd is situated on the River Aare, approximately 5.5 km southwest of Aarau, and offers both river swimming and open-air bathing with a comprehensive range of pools. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by two non-swimmers’ pools (one with a flow channel whilst the other is a slide pool), a diving pool with 1-metre and 3-metre platforms and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a waterslide, various pool accessories, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, showers, toilets and a restaurant.
