Located about 4.5 km south of Basel, the Gartenbad beim Schloss Bottmingen is set in lovely grounds and offers open-air bathing with a full range of pools. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a diving pool with 1-metre and 3-metre boards, a circular non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Other facilities include a waterslide, various pool accessories, a children’s playground, grassed areas with shade for sunbathing and picnics and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, showers and toilets. There is a kiosk, a snack bar and a restaurant.
