The Saurer Vintage Car Museum is located in a renovated industrial building at Grabenstrasse 6 and is operated by the ’Oldtimer-Club Saurer’ (OCS); it is a delight for enthusiasts of historic heavy commercial vehicles. The vehicles on display date from 1911 to 1980. They have all been beautifully restored and are roadworthy. The oldest, discovered in 2003 in Brazil and brought back to Arbon, is the small Caminhao truck. The exhibits include coaches, military vehicles (including the famous all purpose 1943 M8) and fire brigade vehicles. There is also a collection of vintage petrol and diesel engines.
