The Rütimatten Lido is located on a large site in rural surroundings on the outskirts of Schöftland, approximately 12 km south of Aarau. The complex offers open-air bathing under lifeguard supervision and has very good facilities. The 25-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a 25-metre non-swimmers’ pool, a diving pool with 1-metre, 3-metre and 5-metre platforms and a children’s paddling pool. Features include a 40-metre waterslide, two beach volleyball courts, children’s playground, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include parking, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There is a terraced restaurant.
