Located in the old town north of the Town Hall and at the end of Jakob Rosius Strasse, the Rosiusplatz is overlooked by one of the six campuses of the Berne University of Applied Sciences. Interesting features include towers and part of a moat which belonged to the old fortifications and the old Clock Tower which was rebuilt on the site in 1843. Seven minutes before lunchtime in Rosiusplatz, loudspeakers in an administration building send out a message announcing it is time to get a table for lunch!
