The Bathing Huts at Rorschach, some 7 km southeast of Arbon, date back to 1924 and are set in the lake in the only remaining building of its type on the Bodensee. The Badhütte is approached by a causeway from Thurgauerstrasse and offers lake swimming supplemented by a non-swimmers’ pool. Facilities include a float, sunbathing areas with shade, changing cubicles, lockers, toilets, a kiosk and a restaurant. The Rorschach Bathing Huts are a popular meeting place for locals and a visit here is a trip into the cultural past.
