Located to the southwest of town, the Roggenhausen Wildlife Park is home to many animals in their natural habitat and also has a nature trail and orchard. Amongst the animals to be seen are red deer, rabbits, hares, goats, Shetland ponies, wild pigs, stone martens, stag and water birds. The wildlife park also has a restaurant and from there you can keep an eye on the children’s playground, which has scooters, swings, climbing towers, roundabouts and chutes. The beautiful surroundings offer good walking.
