For the young, young at heart, or just simply adventurous, consider rafting on the Saane River which is particularly exhilarating during snowmelt. The 4-5 hour outing goes from Gstaad to Château d’Oex and the meeting point is the Gstaad indoor swimming pool complex in Sportzentrumstrasse. All equipment is provided and participants get detailed instructions from rafting guides; the return transport is included. Trips are twice daily, and all you require to bring is a swim suit, towel and change of clothing; there is a minimum age of 10. You will pass through untouched and natural canyons and beautiful scenery.
