The attractive Hallenbad Oberwil indoor bathing complex is located approximately 6.5 km southwest of Basel in the grounds of the Hüslimatt School. The 25-metre swimmers’ pool heated to 28°C is supplemented by a non-swimmers’ pool at 30 °C and a diving pool with a 1-metre platform, all under lifeguard supervision. Facilities provided include a cafeteria, but are otherwise limited to changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. Being attached to a school, intending visitors should check the hours that the facility is open to the public, by reference to the website.
