The charming village of Niederried bei Interlaken lies on Lake Brienz approximately 5 km northwest of Goldswil. It has a well maintained swimming area on the lake, which is open to the public and free of charge. There is no supervision, but toilets, showers and dressing rooms are available and restaurants and shops are a short walk away. If you wish to do it yourself and picnic or barbecue, there is a fireplace and a table with benches and the green lawns make this an attractive option.
