The Hallenbad Muttenz, located 7 km southeast of Basel, is an indoor bathing complex which is open virtually the whole year round except for maintenance during the summer holidays. The 25-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a diving pool with 1-metre and 3-metre platforms, a children’s paddling pool and a whirlpool, all under lifeguard supervision. During warm weather, the adjacent beach volleyball court and the grassed areas with shade are also available for use. Facilities provided include a sauna, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There is also a restaurant.
