Standing by itself, with a backdrop of the Hochwang and the Plessur mountain range, the gothic Mountain Church was consecrated in 1492 and dedicated to the saints Barbara and Jodokus. The two bells in the tower are original and are inscribed with the 1492 date of construction. The church, which became Protestant after the Reformation, is still used for burials and is a popular venue for romantic weddings. Features are the wooden roof and the splendid 18th century organ. Guided tours can be arranged and this attractive church is worth a visit.
