The Parkbad Münsingen is located on the River Aare, approximately 13.5 km southeast of Berne. In existence for more than 60 years, the complex offers both river and open-air pool bathing with a full range of pools. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a non-swimmers’ pool, a diving pool with 1-metre, 3-metre and 5-metre platforms and a children’s paddling pool. There are grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and games areas for Frisbee, badminton and other sports. Facilities provided include changing rooms, showers and toilets and there is a restaurant.
