The Mosterei Möhl goes back to 1895 and is the only existing privately owned cider factory in Switzerland; it is well known for its range of apple juices and ciders. Make a prior booking for a guided tour of the factory and the museum, which includes a free tasting. Visitors learn not only how cider and the various juices are prepared, but also about the brewing of schnapps and how the bubbles are introduced into drinks. The museum details the history of the Mosterei and exhibits old machines and equipment, used in the traditional preparation of unfermented fruit juice and apple wine.
