Coming from the direction of the village of Bourguillon and immediately after passing the Bourguillon Gate (see separate entry), you will find the picturesque chapel of Notre-Dame de Lorette on the right. Built in 1648, it has fine views of Fribourg. Continue down the Chemin de Lorette and on the right is the tiny Chapelle St-Jost dating from 1684 and on the left the Capuchin monastery of Montorge, which was founded in 1626. You can reach the city either by the Pont du Milieu or by the Pont St-Jean.
