The Davos Local Museum is housed in a typical old regional house, ideally suited to display its collection of objects and documents, which record and bring alive the rich culture and history of the town. Of particular interest is the history of the tuberculosis sanatoriums for which the area was famous. Other features include a display of furniture, clocks, tools, the customs and traditional crafts of Davos, a post office carriage and a shoemaker’s workshop. The museum also stages a series of special temporary exhibitions.
