The Dietikon Local Museum opened in its present location in 1978, although it has been in existence since 1958. In addition to its permanent display, related to the history and culture of the Dietikon region, it stages a varied programme of special exhibitions. The Roman settlements play an important role in the town’s history and a section of the permanent exhibition is devoted to the Roman era.
