Combine a trip to the Landeron Lido (see separate entry) with a visit to the museum in the town hall which gives an insight into Le Landeron’s history. The building has a Gothic elevation and was built between the 14th and 17th centuries. Exhibits include Bronze Age pottery, old crossbows, weapons and gold objects and much more; there is also a diorama and an audio-visual presentation. Amongst the highlights are the Room of Justice with its 1647 timber carving , 15th Century Judgement of Solomon fresco and 1571 marquetry dresser; the adjacent room has a further two 15th Century frescos.
