The Strandbad Ipsach is located approximately 4.5 km southwest of Biel, on the outskirts of the small town of the same name, and is typical of a number of attractive lake bathing spots on the Bielersee (Lake Bienne). Situated in pleasant surroundings next to a marina, the features of this public facility include a float, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and a games area for Frisbee, badminton and other sports. There are barbeque facilities and toilets, but no food outlets.
