The La Motta Lido has the oldest open-air pool in Switzerland dating back to 1923 and it still retains some of the old features, including the red tiles and the quaint sky-blue cubicles. Facilities include the 50-metre heated open-air pool, both non-swimmers and children’s paddling pools, a grassed sunbathing area and shade. There are changing cubicles, toilets and showers, a restaurant and a lifeguard on duty. Sports facilities include a beach volleyball court, table tennis, Frisbee and badminton, but take your own equipment. There are great views of the cathedral.
