The Kunstraum is located close to Baden West railway station and is dedicated to current trends in contemporary art; it stages six exhibitions each year. These cover regional to international exhibits in the fields of painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, object art, video and performance. Kunstraum also acts as the documentation centre and promotes artists from the Baden area and has a programme to make art accessible to children. During the summer it provides studio space to Swiss artists.
