The Klingental Exhibition Gallery is located in the former Dominican convent, the same complex as the Kleines Klingental Museum (see separate entry). The gallery was opened in 1974 and features a programme of exhibitions of the creative work of artists living in and around Basel. It is sponsored by the Klingental Gallery Society (Verein Ausstellungsraum Klingental) whose aims are to support local artists by providing a platform for their current work and providing a means of interaction between the public and the artist.
