Located approximately 5.5 km northwest of Burgdorf, on the outskirts of Kirchberg, the Schwimmbad Kirchberg is an open-air bathing complex under lifeguard supervision with good facilities. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Features include a diving tower with one-metre and three-metre platforms, a children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There is a barbeque area, kiosk and restaurant.
