The Engstligenalp is the largest alpine plateau of the western Swiss Alps and, since 1995, has been characterized by the construction of a number of large capacity igloos. They are designed and artistically decorated with ice features, by the acclaimed Swiss artist Björn Zryd. You can enjoy a traditional Gerber fondue in one of these unique structures, which are open from noon until 10 pm from early in December until early in April. As space is limited, booking is essential. Whether for lunch in a skiing interval or a romantic candlelight evening meal, this is an unforgettable experience
