The Hallenbad Klostermatten has two indoor pools within a beautiful convent complex. St. Ursula Convent in Brig was founded in about 1671, approximately ten years after the first Ursuline sisters arrived in Brig. Although this is a boarding school, the pools are open to the public. There is a 25-metre pool for swimming and a pool for non-swimmers. For diving enthusiasts there are two diving boards, one of one metre and one of three metres in height. There are changing cubicles, toilets and showers, but no other amenities.
