Rickenbach lies about 9 km west of Frauenfeld and the Grafenwiesen Lido is in rural surroundings on the outskirts of the village; it offers open-air swimming with a full range of pools. The swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a diving pool with a tower and one-metre and three-metre platforms, a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. There is plenty of grassed sunbathing and picnic space with shade, a children’s playground and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles, showers, toilets, a kiosk and a barbeque area.
