The Genève Plage is a wonderful place for all the family to enjoy sports and other leisure activities. Created in 1933 in Eaux-Vives, Genève Plage is a recreation area of 42,000 m2 containing an Olympic-sized pool, which is heated and sheltered from the wind, a wading pool, a large diving platform, a giant toboggan nine meters high, basketball and volleyball courts, petanque, playgrounds, a giant chessboard, a private landing stage for water-skiing, a windsurfing base, a restaurant and snack bar with terrace and a boutique. Located in stunning landscaping, with the Jura Mountains as a backdrop, Genève Plage is a prime summer centre for leisure and relaxation.
