The Museum of Geneva Military History is located in the Guillaume-Henri Dufour Pavillion, and covers Geneva’s military history from 1813 to the present day. The history of Geneva’s troupes is unfolded chronologically, thus enabling visitors to perceive the nature of each period distinctly. Carefully chosen objects illustrate this heritage, particularly the life-like mannequins garbed in uniforms of the past. Paintings, tools and documents dating from the two World Wars demonstrate the part Geneva’s soldiers have played in past conflicts.
