The ski resort of Frutigen is located about 15 km northwest of Adelboden and the Sportzentrum Frutigen has a combined indoor and outdoor bathing complex with a sauna and solarium. Massage is also available. There are 25-metre open-air and indoor swimmers’ pools, supplemented by non-swimmers’ and children’s paddling pools. Indoors, there is also a whirlpool. Features include a waterslide, various pool accessories, a children’s play ground, beach volleyball courts, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Facilities include a kiosk and restaurant, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets.
