The Fontinas Lido, some 11 km southwest of Flims, is located in the market town of Ilanz, often referred to as ‘the first town on the Rhine’. The open-air bathing complex is on the outskirts of Ilanz and the 50-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include one-metre and three-metre diving platforms, a large waterslide, a beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities provided include parking, a kiosk and restaurant, changing cubicles, showers and toilets.
