The Filzbach Indoor Baths are located in the Sportzentrum Kerenzerberg, about 14 km northeast of Glarus and near Lake Walen (Walensee). The swimmers’ pool is complemented by a 12-metre non-swimmers’ pool, both heated to 28°C and also has a whirlpool at 38 °C. There is lifeguard supervision and the non-swimmers’ pool has a lift-slab floor enabling the depth to be varied between 80 cm and 200cm. Other features include a one-metre diving board, a beach volleyball court, sauna and fitness centre and more (see the sportzentrum website for further details). Facilities include a restaurant, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets.
