The Fairground Tower, Switzerland’s tallest residential building, is known locally as the ‘Glass Giant’ and can be seen from both France and Germany; it always catches the eye of visitors. Designed by the architectural partnership of Morger & Degelo and built during the period July 2001 and October 2003, it has 31 floors and is 105 metres (344 feet) high. On the 31st floor there is the well known and plush Bar Rouge, from where there is a splendid panoramic view; a good place to have a drink at sunset.
