Located about 5 km south of Aarau and adjacent to the Swiss Quality Hotel Aarau-West, the Entfelden Golf Course was the first 18 hole golf course in the Aargau canton. Designed by Christian Affolter and opened in 1986 the 4,208 metre length course has a par rating of 66. Facilities include a driving range, pitching green, putting green, pro shop and a restaurant. Golf clubs and trolleys can be hired. The Aarau-West Tennis centre is nearby in the same road.
